Your room stays in your room.
Antinodal has no accounts and no advertising, and it does not track you. Here is everything it does with your data, in plain words.
The app
Camera and LiDAR. Used only while you scan, to build a model of your room and to place your speakers and seat in it. The camera image is never recorded or stored. What is kept is the room's geometry — walls, openings, furniture as boxes, and the positions you marked — saved on your phone.
Microphone. Used only while a measurement is running, to hear the test signal. The recordings are saved on your phone so a measurement can be read again or compared later. They are never uploaded.
Your answers. Speaker type, subwoofer, the sound you prefer and your room's name are saved on your phone, to shape the advice.
Sharing is always your choice. The app can export a measurement's recordings through the standard iOS share sheet. Nothing leaves your phone unless you press share and choose where it goes.
The one thing the app fetches. When it opens, the app downloads a short public list of acoustic-treatment suppliers from antinodal.com. That request carries no information about you or your room; like any web request, our host sees your IP address, and we don't store or use it.
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details.
No analytics, no tracking, no advertising are built into the app.
Delete the app and everything it stored is deleted with it.
This website
No cookies. This site sets none. If we ever add visitor statistics, they will be a cookieless, privacy-first service and we will name it here.
Applying to be a Founding listener. We keep your email address and your answers: your iPhone, speakers, room, how you play music, your system, country, language, where you heard of us, and which link brought you. We use them to choose testers, to send your invitation and beta updates, and to tell you once when Antinodal launches. Only if you tick the separate box will we also send occasional news.
Tester feedback. If you send us the questions from the app, your answers and comment reach info@antinodal.com and we also keep them on your tester record in Brevo. We use them to improve the app, to decide its price, and to know who has replied, so we can thank you and stop the reminders. We publish your comment only if you said yes in the app, with or without your name as you chose. To change your mind, write to info@antinodal.com and we will take it down.
Who stores it. Applications are stored, and our emails sent, by Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), which keeps the data in the European Union. Before your application counts, Brevo emails you a link to confirm your address.
Our emails don't track you. News emails carry no open or click tracking. Confirmation and beta emails are counted only as anonymous totals (how many were opened), never linked to you. Every news email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
How long. If you don't get a place, or the beta ends, we delete your application six months after launch. If you ticked the news box, we keep your email until you unsubscribe.
Other forms. The contact and partner forms keep what you type in them, to answer you. They are processed by our host, Netlify.
We never sell or share your details. Ask us to delete them at any time and we will.
Your rights, and how to reach us
You can ask to see, correct or delete anything we hold about you. Write to us through the contact page and we'll answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD).
